What type of bedding do you use in your reptile enclosures?

I use aspen for my boa and cornsnake, a combination of newspaper and cypress mulch for my ball python ( each covering a half), and calcium enriched sand for my dragons. I'm sure there are pros and cons for whatever you choose, but be aware that the oils from cedar can cause respiratory infections and other health issues for reptiles. The jury is still out on pine, but who wants to chance it?

newspaper... nice and easy (and cost effective).

Love the "natural" look, but slowling starting to convert to newpaper.

go back and forth. aspen for the show cages, some of them, it's just a shame to hide them in a tub... paper towels for hatchlings, or for quarantine (easier to see mites, and just spot problems if they happen). combo of aspen/newspaper for rack systems (newspaper for the ones who always insist on spilling their water all over 5 minutes after you clean their tub... uggh!)

My young juvinal beardies get calcium sand and the my older beardies have slate tile on their bottom tanks for better heat absorption and easy clean up.
It depends on the snake. My snakes get cleaned reptibark in the show tanks and then aspin or newspaper in the tubs.
